Calling all computer savy people....

So now I cannot post nor can I send or open any email on my aol account. Any ideas?

Yesterday I had a zinger of a day. It started with Caitlin getting pushed down the stairs by Jonathan. She flipped and sommersaulted her way down. Thank God she was not hurt, only scared! Then Caitlin pulled Jonathan off our bed and he thumped to the floor. Again, we avoided injury. The big one was when Johnny got mad at Luke so he stabbed him in the eye with a pencil. Thankfully he closed his eye in time so he ended up with a bloody gash on the lid. Needless to say Johnny did not have a good day! I was tickled later when I heard Luke say to Sean's mom, "Do you know Mommy talks to God?" We had earlier sat down together and prayed Thanking the Lord for keeping everyone safe during all the incidents and while Gabe was at school. This opened the door later for the discussion of how we don't only turn to God in trouble, but also to say Thank You or just to say I Love You. I was just thrilled that my kids realize that.
This morning I woke up at 3:45 and had a major anxiety attack. I got out my journal and followed my ACTS formula for prayer. Acknowledge, Confess, Thanksgiving, and the only one I can come up with is Solicit, but I don't think that is the right word. Dr. K. and I worked on this in therapy and by golly it worked! I made it through the panic attack with no medication! This is a huge deal to me! I was very happy about it. The holidays are stressful because I miss my dad more and 2 years ago Sean's sister was taken off life support only a few days before Christmas. 4 years ago Sean's cousin died 'suspiciously' on the 18th. So December, while wonderful, holds some tough times.
Today I went out to get the mail, a time as exciting for me as garbage day is for Carrie! While I was standing on the porch in only my sweats, shirt and socks - Jonathan locked me out of the house. He then couldn't figure out how to unlock the door. So I walked around, through wet grass and mud to the side door. Johnny beat me there and locked that one. I was NOT happy!!!! He did unlock that one. Needless to say he was in big trouble.
Then, a bit later, after a disappointing mail call, he got so wound up he threw up generic fruit loops everywhere. What a mess!!!!
THe triplets were asleep by 6:15. Do you blame me?

Gabe got home from LOGOS at 6:45 and we did homework and are going to watch the Shrek movie that is on together.

Oh, our phone is broken so we bought a new one today. It is charging so I have to use the broken one until tomorrow. It doesn't ring, you can only use it on your right ear or it goes dead and the answering machine goes off when it feels like it! Crazy!!! I also took a load out of the dryer yesterday and part of the lint trap casing came with it! I think we don't have too many more loads in it. How funny life can be! I am glad for my sense of humor. God knew I could use one!!!!!

Have a great night.

ps. Cheryl, you have been the talk of our house for days. I am not sure why, but my kids are just enamored with you right now! You fill lots of their conversations!!

Oh I am sooo glad that all the incidents ended with no injuries!!! Now THAT'S progress! ha ha

That is awesome that you are showing and teaching your kiddo's about God and how they can talk to him and he's there for them. It's amazing how connected kids are to God......I guess that's what it means to have a child like faith.

I am happy that you got thru your panic attack without meds......that's awesome!!! I am very proud of you!

HOw do your kids know Cheryl?? Did she send them some goodies??? What are they saying about her???

We need a new phone too. After the one got dropped in the toilet, it's never worked again!! It sucks to only have one working phone in the whole house! I hate running after it! ha

Well, first off, don't know about the computer stuff!!

Second, I'm so glad nobody was seriously hurt, but geez those are some scary accidents!! It is nice when you hear your kids learning that being a Christian and talking to God is a normal part of life. I love it too!!

I'm glad you were able to use what you've learned to get though a stressful time. I wish this season didn't have such tough memories for you. Hopefully with a big dose of holiday cheer coming your way, you'll feel better!!

I love gettting the mail too, especially today because I got your Christmas card, my first of the season and a beautiful picture of the kids. Thank you for it, I loved it!!!

He definitely knew what he was doing when he gave you such an awesome sense of humor, I must've been over in the "get good looks here" line instead that day!! SM

See you Saturday!

I don't know what could be wrong with the computer...turn it off then on again?

Getting stabbed in the eye does NOT sound like it would feel good. I cringed while reading!

I get very excited when the mail comes everyday too! Thank you for the Christmas card I love the picture!!! I will be sending mine out next week after I order my stamps.

glad to hear there aren't any injuries to report! And I am glad you go thru the anxiety attack all on your own!

I know how you feel about December being a sad month. Matt's Grandma died last December two days before Christmas.
