Okay, so I don't know how this will work, but I will try. I only have limited monthly time and I think I have used most of it trying to figure this dumb thing out!
A quick update...
8/21 I had my surgery. The surgeon removed a hard mass of scar tissue and adhesions that was bulging out from my tummy. He said it was necessary to remove it as it would only get worse. That made me feel better about it all. I had to have a central line put in about 2 inches above my heart as they couldn't get an IV. They had to lay me almost on my head and out in in while I was awake. NOT FUN!!!!! The infection in my incision is cleared up and the gaping hole is working its way closed! Yay!
Jonathan went into the hospital with pnemonia about a week adn a half after my surgery for 4 days. He had a pulse ox of 81 and boy was it a scary time! I did recieve a call from these 2 crazy girls who sang me boob songs, through a microphone no less.
Thank you Sonya and Crystal!!! You guys made my night that Friday!
Gabe had a trip to the ER, he was misdiagnosed and sent home while having a pretty serious asthma attack. He had a low pulse ox as well. The dr. said one more day and he would have joined Johnny. He is doing better. He ended up with a little case of pnemonia as well. He still is taking breathing treatments 2 times a day on a nebulizer here. I ended up with pnemonia (notice a trend here?) 2 weeks ago and am doing much much better.
Sean has undergone lots of tests on his heart which have come back okay. They are pretty certain it is all stomach related and will begin investigating soon. The dr. has used some scary words, but we are trusting in the Lord, as always.
Caitlin is doing well. She had a minor foot infection last week, but has remained otherwise healthy. She goes to the eye dr. on November 1st to find out if she has to have surgery again.
I guess there is no use hiding from you all, as I am going to ask for prayers again, some news. Sean and I have been having a really rough time as you all know. These past rounds of medical issues have been really rough especially. Sometime in the near future (probably after Thanksgiving or Christmas) we are losing our house. We are OK about it. Thank God for our sense of humor!!! We have been to the lawyer and are comfortable with what will be happening. Well as comfortable as we can be! The kids don't know yet, as well as most people don't know yet. I share it with you all because I could really use the prayers and support. We know it will be hard, but look at all we have gotten through. God has plans for us, we don't know what, but apparantly it involves foreclosure. Sean and I are just trusting in the Lord that something wonderful will come out of all of this. Somewhere out there is a cardboard box with our name on it!!! Just kidding! We will have a place to go.
I have missed you guys. Thanks for the prayers, support, cards, stickers and the fabulous get well card. You all have thank yous coming. I don't have Carrie or Cheryl's address though. I still have aol email if you would give it to me. Otherwise you don't get mail!!!!!
Hopefully I can get this blog thing figured out soon so I can right a wonderfully uplifting post about my well behaved children. They have been perfect lately!!!! ha ha.

Oh Amanda, I'd give anything to take your troubles away, even for a day. I'm so sorry about your home. Darn, I just wish you could get a break. You are such a beautifully spirited woman and I pray that you'll be rewarded for withstanding so much adversity with so much grace and humor. You are truly an inspiration, and someone I think of daily as I work through my own "troubles". I honestly don't think I could handle all that you've had to deal with and come out smiling. I wish God would allow you to be an inspiration by being a great pie maker or something instead of having to deal with so much in your life!!

Do you know what you're going to do? I have room, you are all welcome here!! (I should probably talk to hubby first!! SM), seriously though, please let us help with anything we possibly can. ANYTHING!! We are here for you! Thanks for updating us, you've truly been missed. Big Hugs ((((((( )))))))

I am so glad you are back, even if it is in the comments. I feel for you and think of you daily. I too am willing to help with anything you may need. Girl, you are such a strong person. I couldn't deal with half of what you have been through and continue to go through. You are an inspiration, truly! You have made so many people who have never even met you , love you and your family. I pray things turn around for you and soon. Please let me know if there is anything, really anything, I can do. I love you!!

Oh my. I am so sorry for everything you have been thru lately. But the saying is "If the Lord brings you to it he'll bring you thru it" You are in my thoughts and prayers everyday and I pray you will get a break. You deserve it. If there is anything else I can do for you besides prayer, please let me know.

I agree with the others you are a true inspiration and I admire your strong will and sense of humor. A lot of people wouldn't be able to handle everything you have gone thru.

Oh goodness...I am already in tears.

Can we help you move maybe? Can we all come up with vans and trucks? That is an idea!

Let us know what we can do, we feel helpless

This is Kevin, Cheryl's husband (aka computer nerd). To try to fix your blogger issue, you will want to clear the cache from your internet browser. If you use internet explorer, click on tools and then internet options. Now you will have to delete your saved internet content. This will cause you to have to enter passswords again if you previously had them stored, but it should reset the browser and fix your problem.

Glad you are back, you were missed.
