Feeling Sentimental...

This is my 100 year old money pit. I say that with love. It has been full of problems - but I hate to have to leave. My dad and Sean built the front porch railing...their first father in law / son in law project. They laid wood floors in three of my downstairs rooms together while I was pregnant eith the trio. Looking at the picture I see the landscaping that isn't done around the new sidewalk...I guess I won't miss trying to figure out what to do there! This place holds so many memories...our first home, three babies born while we lived here, Gabe has lived here since he was 18 months old, my dad contributed alot to this house, Lura, Tim, Sean and I had a painting party in the dining room 7 years ago, parties, fights, celebrations (big and small), Beelzebub (our cat not the devil!) entertained us here. Watching my kids as well as Lura's, Kellie's, Victoria's and my sisters all play...I could go on. Saying goodbye is hard, but eventually we will get another home to make memories in. Bear with me on my sentimental journeys.
For those who don't know, and probably don't care, Sentimental Journey was Colonel Potter's favorite song.

Oh Amanda I feel for you! The thing to remember is you are taking all the most important things with you. You have your beautiful children and your memories. Maybe bigger and better things are in your future, I am sure there are. Your house is adorable. I am so sorry you have to leave it.

It must be hard leaving your house......it's perfectly okay and normal to feel sad about it. You can be as sentimental as you wanna be girl, we are all here for you! I just wish there was more we could do for you! Love ya!

Oh wow, the house is really cute. I wish there was something we could do to stop what is coming. I felt a lot of sadness leaving our home in Texas, but it does get easier and you do make new memories and the old ones don't sadden you anymore. I wish you didn't have to go through any pain though. Please feel free to be as sentimental as your heart desires, we're here for you!

That's a really good picture of the house by the way. And the kids aren't bad either.
