Friday's mom is congested....

According to Charity's research I have 3 gay kids and one with a long way to go. I am not sure I like that poem!!!
Well, I am not feeling any better. I still am running a temp. and I can barely breathe, so Sean made me a dr.'s appt. for this afternoon. Hopefully he can give me a miracle antibiotic and I will wake up perfect! I have lost 3 pounds, you can tell by the way I am typing I'm sure! If this hangs around maybe I will lose enough to fit into last year's fall wardrobe! How depressing!

Hope you all have a good day. I'm thinking of each and everyone of you!

Thursday child is something,something.....

Anyone remember that rhyme? I think it starts out Monday's child is full of grace... I definately am NOT a Monday's child! ha
I don't feel any better today, but am aiming for tomorrow. This has just knocked me down so hard! Ugh. I think Crystal's elephant found its way to my nose. I promise not to be so pathetic and pity myself today. I just needed a little sympathy and support yesterday, as my kids were not giving it to me!!! Maybe that's what Luke was trying to do with the fire hose....
The trio did not want to go to school today. They said they would miss me too much! I think that they will be fantastic once they get into their classroom routines. Jonathan didn't eat his lunch on Tuesday. He opened it first thing when he got into the car after school. Little stinker! As of this morning he still doesn't get that you are supposed to eat it at school! I am not sure what he is thinking.
Gabe had a great day yesterday and did not miss the bus! He came home with his nose in a book reading away and Did his homework first thing without arguing. I was so pleased! Maybe he is starting to really mature. Must be the man hair!
Sean is surviving the hectic first week up at school. He is exhausted as there is constant running around for him. He loves seeing the kids - especially the MH kids! They are so much fun and he is their special friend. Sean was sad to see the one student move on. Every time Sean would go into their classroom the boy would look sideways at him, say "What are you doing?" and when Sean answered the boy would tell him "You're fired!!!" He would lose his job several times a week!
One of the many things I love about my husband is that he has such a huge heart! He loves people and can talk to pretty much anybody. Some of my girlfriends can agree as he has sat in on fertility and period conversations! Must come from growing up with all sisters! He is supercity!
I am going to go and work on filling out my calendar for the Fall. I am determined to be organized this year! We will see if that happens!
Have a great day.
See you in the soapy farts crys!

So you all know that I do look gross and nasty....

Note the hair plastered to my head by sweat. I am the epitome of sexiness.

There should be a law that kids have to listen to you when you are sick. I was trying to relax and looked into see Luke wearing his fireman gear and using his hose/air tank that is also a squirt gun squirting the dining room table, the treadmill and me when I tried to stop him! I took it, opened the back door and threw it outside.

Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!

I'm sick, I feel lousy and I am grumpy!!!!

This picture from last Christmas shows exactly how I feel!

First Day of School Photos...

It was impossible to get everyone to look at the camera and/or smile at the same time!

Real Quick....

I am supposed to be working on a project for school and the warden (Sean :) ) will be in to check on me so this has to be quick! To answer your question:

Luke, Caitlin and Jonathan are in 3 separate classes. At first we were hesitant to split them up, but after talking with several people we decided it would be the best decision. They rely so much on each other and stick so close together that they would have a more difficult time adjusting. Caitlin tends to mother the boys as well. We figure this will kind of force them into socializing with kids besides each other. They are okay with it and will see each other at lunch and on the playground. They were a little scared this morning, but surprisingly there were no tears and when we peeked in at them before leaving, they were each sitting at their tables and playing with legos and peg boards. I cried a bit when we got to the car, but I know that they are going to do well and have an awesome time. I am excited to see what this year holds for all my kiddos. I know that they are going to have a year of adventure, personal growth, learning, laughter and new and exciting experiences. I am looking forward to watching each one of them conquer fears, learn new things and develop their own personalities.

Happy Monday!

Jonathan, Caitlin and Luke at their first soccer game.
Gabe, black and white shorts, white shinguards - in the center- at his first game!

Jonathan swinging at the rez.
Caitlin swinging at the rez.
Luke and Johnny holding hands at soccer.
Can you tell this was our first soccer weekend? Caitlin loved it and can't wait to go back. She did really well. Jonathan liked it as well. I think the highlight for him was wearing shin guards. He got tired in the last three inutes and laid down in the middle of the field. Luke played for about 10 minutes, did something cute and people laughed, and he got embarassed and ran off the field and had a 40 minute tantrum. He said he liked when he played. He gets embarassed so easily and it completely wrecks him. Anyone have or had kids like this? I am open to suggestions on how to help him.
Gabe did awesome. He is already asking about trying out for the traveling team. It plays on Sunday afternoons, so we are really going to have to discuss it. I am not sure if he is at the level he needs to be yet, but he loves playing and it is great exercise!
You will all be happy to know that Sean fixed the shop vac this afternoon and reinstated my vacuuming privaleges. He just laughed when I asked about the library.
Gabe started school this morning. He was so scared!!! He couldn't remember his teacher's name and was worried about having homework already. I know he will do fantastic. I bought him a special after school snack and am working on the kid's bulletin board.
We went to parent orientation for the trio this am. They are in 3 separate kindergartens. I am
a bit emotional about the whole thing. I teared up this morning after dropping Gabe off! It will be tough letting them go, but I know they will have a great time.
Still waiting to hear from the dr. My foot is still swollen and painful. what a dork I am!
Have a great day!
