Saturday was just an exciting day! I thought I was going to go nuts waiting for Jamie, Crystal and Sonya to arrive! I was so excited. When they pulled into my driveway beeping the horn I ran out like a maniac...and was tackled by 2 maniacs! I thought Jamie and Sonya were just beside themselves with joy for finally seeing me! ha! They were just racing to put a button on my shirt. My ego deflated a bit! But boy, how nice it was to finally hug Crystal, Sonya and Jamie! It sounded like their ride up was a fun and crazy one, of course! We got to sit and talk and take pictures and laugh and talk....you all get the idea. I was taken aback and completely in awe of the generosity and love displayed to my family. Thank you all so very much! We went to the local Goodwill, which I thought was huge. Apparantly I was mistaken! It was fun to shop and see just how nutty Sonya can be. I am pleased to say she was not arrested for identity theft, so we didn't need to scrape together bail money! When we got back the kids were so excited to see them. They read books, about knocked Jamie out of the chair rocking her, and tackled the stuffing out of Crystal. I have pictures of it all!!!! Lura and her boys showed up and added to the party. We ate delicious cake that Crystal made and then went to BK to play and have dinner. Crystal rode with me and my kids still refer to the passenger seat as Crystal's seat! It was just an amazing day. I am so blessed to have these women in my life. I love you all and can't wait to have another day together. Maybe Lura and I can drive there!
Oh I had the best day myself!!!! I was sooo very touched by you and your family and now it makes it harder not to live close to you!!! You are a lovely person inside and out and I feeled so blessed to have you in my life. You truly are amazing!!!! Love you!
Well I definitely had a blast too. I was very excited to see you and would've welcomed you with a big hug, game or not!!! I think we should all pile into Sonya's van for a big trip somewhere, just us girls. We would probably have to pull over, so as not to wreck from the laughing, but boy would that be fun!!!!
