What?!?

I think my youngest child reverted back to being 2 this afternoon. When he got home from school he had his snack, played with Caitlin, colored all over a section of the living room wall in pencil and number 2-ed in his pants, in the bathroom, when I sent him to time out. What on earth is he doing?!! The only reason I knew he had had an accident was when Luke complained that something was really stinky. Jonathan had "cleaned himself up" which leads me to think that it truly was an accident and not him acting out. He doesn't have accidents! I wonder what happened? And why on earth would he color on the walls? ARGH!!!!
Motherhood is never dull, is it?

Christmas Eve with Sean's Family

My nephew Ryan. He has joined the lip piercing and tattoo ranks in the fam.
My father in law and crazy Ryan. They both make me laugh.

Rhonda's son Christian and Jonathan. They are cousins - we think they look a lot alike.

My neices Courtney and Allison with my sis-in-law Chrissy and of course Ryan in the back.

On the 24th of Dec. we managed to cram 23 people into our house for Sean's family's party. It was a smaller group than usual, but we had a good time. Gabe was on camera duty so my picture selection wasn't that great. I have 3 close up shots of Jonathan watching t.v. and various views of the trash can. He must have been going for some abstract artsy type of photos. We enjoy spending time with our families, there is always something interesting going on.

Now I get how Kellie felt driving her spytruck...

Sean pointing to the smoking engine. Unfortunately the wind shifted so the smoke switched direction.
This picture doesn't do it justice, but you get an idea.

On our way to WalMart this morning our van started smoking really bad. It was coming in the inside in yellowish, grayish smoke and surrounding the outside. We pulled into a parking lot (ironically a car dealership) and got out while smoke poured out. So there we are, standing in the lot with 2 crying kids, 1 waiting to see flames and me in my pajamas. Thank the Lord we can find humor in our life! After waiting for about 15 minutes the smoking stopped, we said a quick prayer and headed home. Thankfully the van lasted until we pulled in and then smoke poured out again. The pictures don't do it justice. It sure was a sight, and a smell!
So now we are waiting to see what happens. It has been about a half hour and the smoke has died down some. Maybe this is God's way of telling us we should not skip church!
Hope you all have a great day!

Four Beauties....

This was taken today at Steven, Jakob and Andrew's party. We have yet to master taking our own picture, but I don't think we did that bad. I liked being in the back because Lura's head hid my double chin!!!

The Church Christmas Program

Christmas Eve the LOGOS kids put on a program at the family service.

Gabe was a wiseman, Luke was an angel (and he was cast AFTER he kicked the director in the shin!) Jonathan was a cow and Caitlin was a chicken.

There was some brief confusion when after the first practice Jonathan told us he was either and elephant or a giraffe and Caitlin said she was the Christmas duck that lays an egg on the manager.
It was a really cute performance and the kids did super singing the songs. I was very proud of them. It was funny when Jesus was born and Mary grabbed him by the neck to pull Him out of the sling. Thank goodness it was just a doll and not a real baby!!!!
Up next......see what wild animal made an appearence at Christmas Eve at my mom's. No it was not a snake, worse in my eyes!

I missed you all!!!!!!

Gabe at Dave and Buster's for his Birthday with Sean and I.
A delightful shot taken by us. Sticking to tradition I display no upper lip and a couple of chins. I figured no one would no it was me otherwise!

The trio enjoying a warm December day playing in the back of the truck.

I love this picture!

Happy Friday that I got my internet service back everyone!!!! Boy have I missed you guys. I am going to spend the day reading blogs and email. I told Sean to not expect anything done around the house.
Things here have been normal for the Harrises. You know, a snake here a flooded basement there.... My therapist moved to Michigan - she swears it was not to get away from me, I asked thanks to Kellie and Lura! What good self esteem boosting friends I have!!! Just kidding you guys. I have lots to post about and pictures to share, but I don't want to bombard you all at once. I will gradually do it. I hope that you are all fantastic and I can't wait to read what you have been doing. Love you guys!!!!

Guess who made the front page of the newspaper??

This is Lura posting for Amanda. Thought I'd share the "news" with you. All I have to say is "yuck, yuck, yuck". I have been in their basement. In fact, when we recently made Christmas cookies, we put them on the basement steps to cool. I jokingly told Amanda that there was something eating the cookies. Little did I know. Ewww.

The newspaper reported the snake as being a boa constrictor. (Apparently the previous renters had "lost" the snake shortly before moving out). Later the snake was deemed to be a ball python. One that had apparently eaten recently according to the reports. Has anyone seen the triplets lately?
